From beer bothys to the largest vinyl shop in the country, here are five spots music fans should visit when they're not marvelling at Mary Queen of Scots' childhood home
This month’s Scene Report (Fairly new here? We’re talking a bi-monthly, curated guide to a location or long weekender) is a Scottish special. FREEDDOOOMM. But no, I’m not referring to the longstanding home of that summer festival in Edinburgh, nor the gritty club venues of Glasgee. Instead, I’m taking you to the central band; a medieval city set on a craggy rock face with the 67m tower of the National Wallace Monument1 on the horizon. We’ve come to Stirling.
And, I’ll be honest with you, those other cities most likely won’t be far behind as — a very much out of character PSA — Babe, Gig In The City? will permanently be reporting from Bonnie Scotland as of next month!
